Enemies/why do you people always whois me

why_do_you_people_always_whois_me is a former IRC channel on the GameSurge IRC network.

It was originally set up, essentially, as a way for idiots to meet together..and to fool people who /whois other people on IRC. It's basically a staple of immaturity and stupidity amongst IRC folks.

After a prolonged war with i r teh h4x in November of 2004, #why_do_you_people_always_whois_me was disbanded.

The disbanding was caused when two idlers, FBI and Jon, began to attempt to take over the channel. Eventually it caused havoc in the channel and that havoc marked the end of the 'war' between #why_do_you_people_always_whois_me and i r teh h4x. Cradly was then able to try to help and solve the situation by finally registering #why_do_you_people_always_whois_me with the ChanServ service and finally getting full control of the channel. However, this control over the channel was not liked by the more active and more mature members of the channel so they went on to form their own private channel and then cause the death of #why_do_you_people_always_whois_me.

The new private channel is known as #teh gs maphia and is private and invite only.
